Evans Otalor is currently a Data Science Consultant with Sterling Bank, before that he was Head of Data Analytics at IHS Towers, Nigeria. He is also a part-time lecturer at two foreign universities.
He is an experienced analytics professional with demonstrated track record successfully structuring and managing analytic projects across Banks, TELCOs, and FMCGs.
Evans holds a BSc in Industrial Mathematics from Ambrose Alli University and an MSc in Actuarial Science from Glasgow Caledonian University, Glasgow.
Highly skilled in the application of Mathematical and Statistical Methods to collect, organize, interpret, and summarize data for quantitative modelling projects that include both Data Analysis and Predictive Modelling to aid insight extraction, Risk Disclosure, Reporting, Measuring, Monitoring, and Predicting. Evans have over 10 years’ experience training in the Data Science space with over 13 years industry experience
Expert user of Python, R, Microsoft Applications (Including MS Excel, Power BI), SPSS Modeler, Alteryx, Knime, Tableau, and various Data Analytics/Visualization tools.
