In fact, I have been using my GTB Naira Mastercard on Quickteller to pay my Airtel postpaid line bill for over a year now.
But, I will still give you the list of other websites you can buy recharge cards or top-up to recharge your phone lines on and as usual, with relevant snapshots.
So, here we go!
1. MTN E-CHARGE
2. RECHARGE NIGERIA
3. EASY TOPUP
Update: No longer functioning
4. RELOADNG
6. MOBILE RECHARGE
7. VISAFONE RECHARGE
8. GVT PAYMENTS
Update: No longer functioning.
9. Easy2Voice
10. V-Top-Up
11. Paga
Just navigate to any of these websites and recharge your MTN, Airtel, Etisalat, Visafone, Starcomms or Glo phone lines online with your ATM card details.
If you have any difficulty making the online purchase visit my over-elaborate how-to post here or contact me via a comment.
Thanks for checking out my blog. Look around on the top right for posts you may benefit from, and click to subscribe and receive useful tips via e-mail.
How is the security on these sites (well except the Visafone which should have good security)?
ReplyDeleteActually the sites are interswitch merchants, the payment page will redirect you to a secured interswitch payment portal just like the ATM does.
ReplyDeleteIt's same as any online payment, just that here you recharge your phone lines like you'll do on any conventional ATM.
This is an email from FCMB -
ReplyDeleteDear Valued Customer,
It has come to our attention that the website; www.daynat.com used for the purchase of recharge cards and airline ticket payments is being used by fraudsters to defraud customers.
In an attempt to protect your funds and prevent fraudulent activities on your account, FCMB would no longer permit transactions to be carried out on this website.
We advise that you STOP the use of the website for any transactions.
For more information, kindly call our Contact Centre Consultants on 012798800 or 070FCMBMYBANK (07003262692265). Alternatively, you can send an email to customersolutions@firstcitygroup.com
Thank you for choosing FCMB.
After getting your comment about www.daynat.com I visited the site again, to see if it is secure or not.
ReplyDeleteI noticed they do recharge card sales at bulk price (NGN96 for NGN100 cards), I instantly signed up and tried buying one for my GLO line. I noticed they require a softpurse account (run by www.softcomng.com)for payment and I'm currently in the process of opening the softpurse account.
Well, I'll advise no one to use the site for now. But I will update you all as soon as I have a full grasp of the issue. All I'm looking for is to see if they will ask for my ATM card details (then I'll red-light them) or if they'll redirect me to the usual (used by all airlines and most online stores) interswitch payment page.
Thanks Somze.
Finally through with the testing, their payment page (the interswitch one) is a fluke. I wasn't redirected to the interswitch payment portal.
ReplyDeleteI'm deleting the www.daynet.com reference (site number 5) from the post.
Thanks a lot Somze!
